To preserve.

It is essential to retain both the integrity and the detail of the original design.

Freehand Studio, founded by Kim Dempster, is a design and development boutique that specializes in heritage properties located in getaway destinations. Properties with a story that emanates from a bygone era or from the character of the surrounding area or from the personalities who were the original creators.

Kim’s current properties are a Bolinas 1928 beach cottage (published on the cover of House Beautiful and scores of Williams Sonoma/Pottery Barn catalogues), a 1959 Palm Springs mid-century modern (published in both Luxe Magazine’s LA and Orange County editions), a 1939 Forestville wine country farm and an as yet developed property in Sugar Bowl.

More information will be available soon.
